ZAMIOCULCAS ZAMIIFOLIA (ZZ Plant)

Also known as the Zanzibar Gem, this is an extremely popular and hip house plant. It’s nonchalant care requirements make it a great choice for forgetful houseplant owners; whereas it’s stunning and unique foliage give it eye-catching appeal.

Zamioculcas zamiifolia has small but wide, dark green, glossy leaves that zig-zag up tall, slender stems. The plant has air purifying qualities too, removing volatile organic compounds benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene.

CARE TIPS:

• Shade tolerant house plant. Happy anywhere from low to bright light, however avoid direct sunlight.
• Water when the potting mix has started to dry out. Drought tolerant. Do not over-water. Recommended: once every 2 weeks
• Apply a weak dose of a liquid fertiliser once a month during the growing season.
